Bed socks have one job: warm feet at 3 a.m. without a tight cuff. These are knitted from an alpaca blend that is warmer than wool for its weight, with a loose top that leaves no mark. They are not reinforced, because they are not for walking on hard floors.
Like wool, alpaca felts above 30 °C.
