Everything ships from Lisbon. An order placed before 13:00 Lisbon time on a working day goes out the same afternoon; anything after that leaves the next morning. We do not ship on weekends or Portuguese public holidays.
The tracking email is sent when the label is printed, which is a few hours before the parcel is first scanned. Do not worry if the link shows nothing at first.

Prices on the site include VAT for EU addresses. For the UK, Switzerland and Norway they do not include import duty or local VAT, which the carrier collects from you on delivery. We would rather that was clear here than a surprise on the doorstep.
A recycled card box or a paper mailer, paper tape, no plastic. Garments are folded with a single band of paper, not bagged. If a parcel arrives damaged, photograph it before opening it fully and send us the picture with your order reference.
You have 30 days from delivery to send back anything you do not want, for any reason. That is longer than the 14 days EU law gives you.
The garment needs to be unworn, unwashed and with the size tab still attached. Trying it on is fine; sleeping in it is not. Socks can only come back unopened, because once the band is off they cannot be resold.
There is no separate exchange process because it would be slower than the alternative: return the first, order the second. If the size you want has run out in the meantime, tell us and we will set one aside.
Every garment is tested through 200 washes before we list it. On the strength of that, we guarantee its construction for 100 home washes: if a seam opens, a cuff or rib loses its shape, or a waistband or elastic stops holding, we repair it where we can and replace it where we cannot, and we pay postage both ways.
Covered: seams, hems, cuffs, ribbing, waistbands, elastic, drawstrings, buttons, belt loops.
Not covered: pilling, shrinkage within the figure on the product page, colour change from washing with darks or drying in strong sun, felting from a wash above 30 °C, snags and pulls, and moth damage. Those are the fabric doing what the page said it would do.
We do not ask you to prove a wash count. Tell us when you bought it and what happened; a seam that goes within two years of normal use is inside the guarantee as far as we are concerned. Start a claim at hello@wearelaras.com with a photograph.
If something arrives with a fault or damaged in transit, we pay the postage both ways and replace it. A photograph is usually enough and we will say if it is not.
Nothing on this page reduces your rights under EU or Portuguese consumer law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal and the two-year legal guarantee of conformity. Our 30 days and 100 washes are in addition to those, not instead of them.
